Mankamana Daraundi Hydro Power Company Ltd (MDHPCL) has received a Survey license from the Department of Electricity Development, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Government of Nepal for the study of the Daraundi Nadi Hydro Power Project, located in Gorkha district This project is being promoted by the ex-employees of Nepal Electricity Authority. The project is a Run-of-River (ROR) project with an installed capacity of 8.85 MW according to a desk study of the project.
